Wedding band in Tirol
A wedding has three musical moments: the ceremony, the reception and the party. I play all three, with Jazzy as a duo, as a trio, or with the band Fat Jack Slam. On stages across Tirol since 2010, at home in Söll since 2014, over 200 gigs a year.
The wedding day, step by step
Ceremony
Entrance, rings, exit: two or three songs, acoustic, no big setup. Registry office, church or outdoor ceremony on the mountain, we fit the place.
Drinks reception
Two voices and a guitar in the background while the guests congratulate you. A live reception sounds different from a playlist straight away.
Dinner
Quiet enough to talk, good enough to listen to. Volume as agreed, requests included.
Party
Fat Jack Slam takes over: rock, pop, funk, soul and disco until the dance floor is full. Or the trio when the party is smaller.
Why couples book us
One contact
Ceremony to dance floor from one person. You organise one band, not three.
Native English voices
I am English, Jazzy grew up bilingual in Söll. The songs sound like the record, the announcements are in German.
Our own PA
Sound for every format, lights with the band. All we need on site is power.
Routine
Over 200 gigs a year. When the schedule slips, you will not notice.

Questions couples ask us
How much does a wedding band in Tirol cost?
It depends on format and length: a duo for the ceremony is a different job from a band until three in the morning. Send me the date, venue and running order and you get a concrete quote within 48 hours, with no hidden extras.
How long do you play?
As long as the evening needs. Typical is ceremony and reception with the duo and three to four hours of party with the band, with breaks as agreed.
Do you bring the PA?
Yes. We bring our own PA for every format, and lights with the band. All we need on site is power.
Will you play our first dance?
Yes. Tell me the song in good time and we learn it. We are happy to take further requests as long as they suit us.
Do you sing in German too?
We sing in English. If a German song is requested, Jazzy takes it. Announcements are in German.
How early do we need to book?
Summer weddings are often gone a year ahead. For May to September an early enquiry pays off; otherwise a few weeks is usually enough.
Can you play the ceremony and the party on the same day?
Yes, that is our standard case: duo for the ceremony and reception, band for the party. Changeover and soundcheck happen while you are at dinner.
